Adobe Illustrator / Logo Question

I created a logo for my parents hardware store with photoshop cs4. And my parents friend has a t shirt business and they were going to make to get shirts made. Well he said the logo has to be in vector. Well i figured what program i would need to make it a vector. But really can't find any good tuts. On how to convert it from psd to ai.

you need to use Adobe Illustrator, take a pen tool to your current pixel logo and trace it. Vectors allow you to resize a logo and maintain quality.

Yeah, vectors are so cool. They can be virtually any size you need while retaining their crispness. And—don't forget those transparency settings, all under document set up.

I think you may need a Adobe Illustrator.
