Dear forum, Ive recently decided to design my portfolio website finally!
What Is shown below is what I have done so far in terms of psd design, Please let me know what you think.

in my eyes the work needs to be perfect and in this case, the site cannot be perfect without other peoples critism and feedbacks. many thanks!

By the way, the header + banner and the navigation is flash and have been sliced and animated in flash, it looks awsome !

Hi Nima!

WOW! I think the layout is absolutely STUNNING! The grey scale style motif with the green accents works great and I love the textured content areas, it's beautiful. The only part that is very distracting to me is the break in the background you have behind the text (for example, behind "WEB DESIGN / GAME DESIGN / CREATIVE RETOUCHING etc..."). It just looks strange, as though there's a coding error and the background isn't loading or something. I would re-evaluate that portion and try some variations with the text being over the full background and using a faint white dropshadow to stand it out or something if necessary.

Aside from that, I have no complaints, it's gorgeous!

Thanks for the quick response and WOW, what great honor it is to get complimented on a design by P2L's famous big boy.
I have taken your words into consideration and decided to put it in action on the current page that im working on (the about us page)

Hey my pleasure, I'm starting to check out the forums more and more so I think you guys will start seeing me around quite a bit if I can keep it up lol! Anyhow, the new title text format looks awesome, that's MUCH better. Apply that style to the main page and contact page samples and it will be amazing!

Once again thanks Dan, glad you like it.. Im gonna pass it around to around 10 other people and get their votes also and if the new design wins then I shall convert


As for other people reading this, Im still open to your critism's and feedbacks, please do keep them coming. it helps me alot in my work.

Hi guys, thanks for all your great feedbacks, the website is now ready and launched at a BETA stage, not all the content has been added yet in the portfolio section as I have just launched it last night.

but please give me your feedbacks on design, let me know how you think it is and whether you see any bugs or faults in design (not content) or if there is anything I should change.
