I'm new to Image Ready, and I'm trying to do some animations. I did the tutorial for glowing text, and everything is working except for the background color. The only frame that has my black background is the first one, then the rest is just the little checkered no background stuff? I tried adding color to each frame, but the holes in 'e' and 'a' and other letters is still white.

So I guess my question is... how do I make each layer keep my background?

go throught each frame and make the background visible under the layers palette by clicking on the left hand box causing the EYE icon to appear.

Cool, I tihnk I figured out what I was doing wrong...

I have another problemthough, I'm making these little animations, and I use all these colors, and then they are different when I preview it and save it.

In Photoshop and Image Ready, that has white and red and grey.

Then in Photo Shop and Image Ready, that is a white glow in stead of a pinkish ugly color...

any clue whats happening?

Check and make sure you're using 256 colors in Gif format instead of 128. Maybe that's what's doing it?
