I've trolled over this forum for years, had an old account which for the life of me I can't remember and do believe its on an email I no long have.

But anyways, where is everyone? I remember seeing a load more posts then whats been going on recently.

Never quite thought of it like that. I noticed most of the "learning" "showing off" sites I went to in the programing field are more less non-existent. It's a shame though, this is a awesome site; just hope to see it continuing on.

Running a forum is hard tho. I thought having 10k visitors a month was enough to run one. I had 100 registered members after a month and like 10 posts. I had to delete my board -.-

Yeah, pretty much the same for me. I do like to sometimes see what my friends are doing around the country, though.

I remember when this forum was the "happenin'" place. I've been lurking here for years even before I signed up for an account. I remember asking myself not too long ago, what DID happen to P2L, and quickly realised this is not the only forum to lose daily traffic. I wasn't even thinking that Facebook and Twitter pretty much killed the internet forum.

It depends on the forum too... a tiny niche forum will always do well as I run a couple and they are busier now than ever The problem is P2L isn't a forum catering to a unique and small niche, there are a billion and a half forums for tutorials and such so there is a lot of competition. I'm sure it will pick up eventually again if we get more active users going like we used to. We had sort of a core of users that were always around, but when they stopped posting so did a lot of other folks. Ah well... at least you know I'm still here!

PS. it was my bday yesterday punks No one wished me happy bday on my own forum, so no cake for any of you!

Believe it or not,
but i'm back again too...
The next 6 months or so, i'll also have a bit more time, so i will be frequenting more often here.
Dunno if its just a feeling, but it seems like there is a lot less moderating going on too (commercial posts and "give away frebees posts" at the help thread).
Anyways, just wanting to say hi to you all and tell you i still love you !!!
