Hi,

I need help creating a paper scroll in Photoshop, one that should look something like this:

Specifically, I have no idea how to create the furled part marked on the image, how to create such a shape with such a gradient. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated - the rest of the image I'm able to recreate.

Hi Nea,

I had 5 minutes to spare so I thought I'd show you how I'd do it.

Basically creating the shapes on their own layers using the pen tool, coloured them using the gradient layer effect, flattened each layer and dodged and burned individually.

I have attached a link to the Photoshop file, its pretty rough though.
