I need to convert EPS files in Photoshop to AI. I use the Export function. All worked while I was on Win XP, but I "upgraded" to Win 7 and now the image is blank when I open the Exported AI file in Illustrator. If I open an AI file which was created/exported on my old XP system, i can view the AI file in Illustrator, but no images are present when I export from EPS to AI in Win 7. Any ideas what might be wrong? I do notice that the old files come up in Illustrator with a filename (RGB/Preview) and that new ones (with a blank page) come up with a filename (CMYK/Preview) - actually they come up with [Converted].ai (CMYK/Preview/U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2). I'm not sure why the difference. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
