Well I know flash 5 has it but can't find and seems that flash 7 doesn't have or they did just hide it very well. So does anyone know where i can get flash 5 or how to make object fade in flash 7.

Motion tween. On the first frame leave as is, and on the last frame - make alpha to 0%.

That works in flash 5 not in flash MX 7.

its in 7. just make whatever it is you want to fade a symbol. (f8) then click someone to deselect everything then click on the object you wish to fade and there will be a dropdown box that says color. and then click alpha. at 100% its visible and at 0% its not.

Its been the same way for many many versions of flash now, i think since before flash 4 even

And yes it still works in Flash MX / Flash Mx 2004 Proffesional the same way it did in 5/6 etc.

one thing for sure flash 5 had better than 7, when i drag it down to alpha 0% and then try to put it at 100% its still the same and after i put it on 0% i can't get it back to normal color. It was much easier in flash 5 than 7
