Apparantly I was supposed to have some sort of area to enter my activation code (I only currently have the trial) but cannot find anything. Anyone know where I can enter it? :(

ahem...

"Photoshop & Other Graphic Apps "

alot of 2D programs use activation codes you know...

on topic: i think it might be in the help menu, Activation. or in one of the menus unless im confusing it with another program.

when you open it doesnt it ask you for an activation code? wierd. i dont know though ive never had my trial expire on me so best wait for someone who has to answer this. if not uninstall and reinstall it then enter an activation there.

or contact adobe and ask them how to enter the activation key you have just purchased...hopefully ;)

Tried uninstalling and installing, didn't work, same page loads.
Asked on Adobe and he just said you need to buy a code? I was like, yeah, I have a code, where do I enter the code?

Alright, what you do is, un-install adobe ps, delete it from your registries and temp folders. Then re-install it. This time press the activate button, and choose anyway you would like to activate. Once you do that your adobe photoshop that you paid for is ready.

delete it from your registries and temp folders

Is that necessary? If so, that may be where I went wrong. I un-installed and re-installed it, but didn't go off deleting extra things...
Where are my registries and temp folders anyway? :)

Well, considering you didn't know where your registery folders were located, I'd advise that you stay out of the reg entries, and look for an alternative way round it.

Open Photoshop >> Help Menu >> Activate

I've already said earlier on that I can't open PS to click Help, because the trial's expired and so I can't get in to it.

But thanks for offering help anyway.

Was hoping to make that a last resort as you'd probably have to wait years for them to do anything lol

Yeah, but you'd probably be on hold for about 10 minutes paying for each minute or something stupid...
