Hey, I just started with Flash, I am working my way through a series of tutorials but I hit a dead end.

How do I get to the Instance properties?

Accoring to this page

Right Here

It's under Modify>Instace but I can't find it there.

Thanks in advance

KIWI :)

Hi there

That tutorial was made for Flash V4 or earlier, the instance properties can be found since Flash 5 here:

Select the Symbol, text or whatever, and click on the properties tab located on the bottom of your screen, if you made a symbol out of your graphic, then you will be able to choose (alpa, bright, tint, and so on).
