how far have poeple got :D
i am going for a simple model.. so i can spend time on the texturing. about half of the model is modelled... i think, might add some more detail later.. but i want to actually spend a little time texturing properly this time :)

theres the mech so far... not going to be the standard type... i get bored of standard :D
think it is going pretty well so far.

;) all :D

I really wanted to participate in this even though i jus started learning to work with Cinema 4D as I thought this would make me learn some new stuff not found in tuts :D .. and basically this is my first model ever. :D

Here's what I've done so far....

Posted Image

I could use some constructive criticism on this one. :D

I still need to work on the top half - Im pretty happy wid the bottom half at the moment ;)

nice so far.. you seem to be using basic shapes and then sticking more basic shapes in the to get the shape you want....

it will work for some stuff, but it is better to re shape the object you create.. for example creating a cyclinder and extruding the edges... (for the legs)
it seems like you have done it for the toes so you know what i mean ;)
good first model btw.. my first true try was a mech i spent far to much time on.... ;)

mine so far>> Posted Image
^^ nearly finished.. i am much happier with it than i thought i would be :D.. also it took far less time... means i can have a proper try at texturing :D
