There are some programs that let you make a flash movies from pictures without any knowledge of flash. I think there's one from Swish (www.swishzone.com). Or you can always look at www.download.com...

We have a flash movie at start of r site which alernates between a few photos, wanted to change the photos displayed to new ones we have but I dont know how to do a flash movie

check out the p2l flash tutorials that way you can get it how you want.

I just downloaded flash yesterday and made my first movie from tutorials.

check out Flashkit.com too. And you are building a Slide Show flash. There is some stuff like that on the web. Look in google..
