Hello, I'm tryin to make a layer of a button go to a particular frame and scene when it is clicked by the user, but its not working, can anyone help, the codeing is below. At the moment the button's state is a movie symbol, cos I couldn't get it to work as a button either, so I tried a movie symbol.
Thanks
Sonder!!!!
onClipEvent (mouseDown) {
gotoAndPlay("3","frame1");
}
IS MY CODEING CORRECT?

is your scene named 3, and do you have a frame marker named frame1?

yes to both questions, the scene is just scene3 and the 1st frame is called frame1

if your scene is named "scene3", then you need to put scene3 in your AS instead of "3"

Thx for your help everyone, I got it sorted now, here was the correct code
onClipEvent (mouseDown) {
_root.gotoAndPlay("tween");
}
I just named the fisrt frame of the other scene to 'tween' and then published preview, rather than ctrl-enter and it worked fine.
Thx again
