motion tweening is very simple to do, if you are a newbie in flash you have to learn this. and also shape tweening but that I will explain in my next flash tutorial.
later Iwill also explain more difficult motion tweens and shape tweens.

this tutorial is writen in flash mx 2004 pro but its the same with the other versions

step 1:
open up a new document in flash

step 2:
draw a simple cube or circle in your workspace

step 3:
now go to your timeline and select frame 30 and insert a new keyframe (press F6)

step 4:
now select your cube or circle and move it to the other side of the document

step 5:
now back to the timeline
go to frame 1 and dubbel click in it but don't release the mouse button and drag it to frame 30.

step 6:
now right click the selected area and click on create motion tween

if you publish it you will see that your cobe or circle moves from left to right
you can use these technique for many thing like buttons, intro's

if you want that the object moves just 1 time then press F9 to open your actions pallet and select frame 30, and write in your actions pallet
stop;

no advertizing in tutorial forum please
