------old post-----

alright so i just finished designing my site and coded it in CSS so yea C n' C PLEASE

http://clandestinedesigns.com

it looks great in FF but it has some problems in IE, so if you have CSS experiance and can help me figure out this problem that would be awesome!

please understand that i just made that design and published it, i dont currently have any work to add to it atm, so the site is kind of empty, but when the site has more content i think it will look nice.

if you use differnet browsers besides FF and IE, plaese tell me if anything is buggy. Thanks again

;)

((heres the pic of what it looks like in IE if you cannont find out what im talking about http://img.photobuck...igns/help12.gif and if you are using IE and dont have FF this is what it should look like http://img.photobuck...ns/help10.gif))

I think it looks pretty good. Add some padding to each blog post. Remove the Gray boxes around the Links, and latest additions. You might also want to add some more colors such as oranges, greens to the text to separate headers from post text. Oh yea, btw, IE gets the box model wrong. I'm pretty sure that is what is causing your layout to look different in IE; however, I may be wrong. There is a IE box model hack. http://tantek.com/CS...xmodelhack.html <<<box model hack

Like stye said, I would make the entry titles ("Time to get to work" 01-02-06) a green from the grass above to pull a little color in ;) And this is just a picky detail but I'd add a 2px spacer between the P2L and Slicingguide buttons to differentiate them :D

Also, I just noticed that you have no hover color on your text links (its another orange but really hard to see the difference). I'd add a different colored hover so that users know when the mouse is over them :)

That'd do it ;)

alright i updated my site

the text like "news" "lateest additions" ect, i tried them orange and green, they dont look to good, so im just going to keep the titles inside the content boxes orange, also on my about page, should i have the black bold letters orange or keep them black?

i also made it so that it should display the same in IE as it would in FF.

a couple things i want to do that maybe you guys can help me with or point me in the right direction are

make a style sheet for my side menus so that they will be the same on every page from just changing/updating one page.

and on my contact page, how can i make that stand out more, the white boxes just blend in to much it is hard to see it and it doesnt look to hot.

thanks again for the input

;)

edit: also for outside links, like to P2L, is it better to have it linked to a blank frame or parent?

thanks again

It looks great, but for the roll overs I think javascript would be your best choice, unless you can get them to preload in CSS (you probably can).

Well, in my opinion having a banner made of purely pre-made brushes isn't very attractive. Since the banner is the only real graphical part of your site that people see at first, it should be a bit more impressive. Other than that it's fine, the site is clean and easy to navigate.
