there is no way of making a layout like that by not using a full image based website

It'd be nice if we could see the larger and coded version.

hmm, I see no way of coding that becouse you can't have a rounded background with a gradient like that

I sugest you to use spiffy corners, rounded corners without images and javascript (pure CSS)

mabye add some color would be good all grey and white doesnt look good also that will be very tricky to code because for that design to work the whole site will have to be a fitted size with scrolling in it.

First one looks much better to me, the second one looks less-organised and doesn't have that proffesional feel to it, I dunno though it just looks odd to me.

Oh Btw I know this is a stupid question and all, but are you planning on putting in the left hand side, right now I'm confused as to why the navigation menu is in the middle of the content.

oh i thought it would be a kind of style in way that everytime a page is clicked.. the image on the left side changes to show what type of desings or info is contained within a page. but since the first one is better then i will keep that one and modifie it beter.. thx for the coment..

if you have more sugestions then let me know...

Ah I see, well it's a nice idea but I think the outcome of it (version 2) didn't turn out all that great, I'm glad that you are sticking to the first version as I like it more :), also it would be great to see a working demo of it as I'm interested in finding out how you managed to code the layout. (looks like it would be very tricky to code that layout ^_^)

The first looks way better, also.. I think that you need to add colour or it will look old.. No offence..

the layout is ok but i dont like the gradient colours you have used.

It looks like the basic black and white one and it looks a little weird i think

1- the site is broken
See screenshot: http://img122.images...titled10ts1.jpg
2-iFrames aren't good in look and aren't professional, also it's annoying
3-the effects you used are bad: this text: "where art comes to life" has a default stain that makes it VERY hard to read
4-your website is almost 100% graphics, that means if someone is on a 800 x 600 resolution, the person won't be able to see it well.

^ Very good points there by Myoto, as said before it's very hard to code something like this, also I hate iFrames alot, I find them annoying and they bring down the site's quality alot.

I think that it's best if you re-design the layout, and work on using css to your advantage rather than having everything done using images.

Keep at it, and make sure to keep us updated :P
