Rar it and pass secure the rar file or put i inside a locked folder. There isnt a option to pass protect the individual PSD from inside photoshop as far as i know.

Dance I think they would have liked some instructions?

Anyway download winrar from here Click me Then follow the steps or whatever to install it, put your photoshop document into a folder. Right click the folder and select add to archive, a menu will pop up. Select the advanced tab and click set password.

Keep your files on your own computer and keep it secure and you shouldn't need to worry. ^_^

Hi,

Woedi

Apologies for the 6 year delayed reply but I found it to be quite amusing that no one (that I could find online) has still not posted that this is possible.  Well, it kind of is - works on Adobe Creative Suite 6 (probably even older versions).

The trick: Save the file as a Photoshop PDF and this should pull up the PDF settings "Save Adobe PDF" dialog where you have the security tab on your left side. Click there and it's all pretty self explanatory from there on. Just make sure that, on the General tab the "Preserve Photoshop Editing Capabilities" option is selected.

You will now be prompted for a password every time you try opening this PDF file in either Acrobat or Photoshop. In Photoshop, you will be able to edit all the contents (layers including vectors/ text) just like in a regular PSD file.

Hope this helps.
