The P2L Advertising System is a custom built application designed to handle all the advertising needs on Pixel2life.com. The Ad System is a complete ad creation and management tool, with many options and reports that are ciritical for successful advertising campaigns. We want our advertisers to get the most for their money and have the tools needed to quickly adjust their ads and evaluate their performance. This is the second generation of the Advertising System and has been completely revuilt from scratch... development is ongoing and we are always adding new features and ad positions so please be sure to check back for ad system upgrades!

Aside from specialized advertising such as a weekly featured tutorial or being a P2Pod sponsor, Pixel2life uses the PPC advertising model, otherwise called Pay Per Click. This means that advertisers purchase blocks of clicks and apply them to their ads. All PPC ads are a flat rate of $0.05 per click, no matter what ad position, no matter how many clicks are purchased. This is an excellent PPC rate that is cost-effective and ensure the highest possibility of a solid return on investment.

Our ad system is also quite flexible, allowing you to advertise in specific categories, specific geographic locations, and all ads can be paused, adjusted or cancelled at any time. When you visit the main P2L Advertising System start page, you will find some detailed information about ad placement, site metrics and more. There is also a tabbed navigation menu at the top allowing to you navigate between the advertising system''s main functions.

The Overview page covers some general information about the P2L Advertising System and explains the current available ad positions on the site as well some traffic related metrics for Pixel2life.com. You can also find some general advertising statistics to give you an idea of average performance for each available position.

Please note the site metrics and performance averages are still in development at this time! These will be available very soon!

How to Get Started

Before you can create your ads, you must first open a free P2L member account by clicking on the register link at the top left side of the side. Once your account has been created and validated, you must then have P2L credits in your account. P2L Credits can either be earned by participating in the community (please see the credit system chapter for details) or they can be purchased. 1 P2L Credit is equal to 1 click, so credits are $0.05 each. Simply click the "Buy Credits" tab and enter the amount of credits you wish to purchase. The form will automatically update the total purchase cost as your type in the number of credits you wish to purchase.

Pixel2life uses the secure PayPal processor for all transactions, however you do not require a PayPal account to make a purchase. The processor can accept all major credits cards or you can pay directly from a PayPal account. Simply click the "Buy it Now" button and your will be forwarded to the PayPal website for final processing. Once your transaction is complete, you will be returned to the site and the credits will be added to your account immediately.

Please note that echeck based PayPal payments require several days to clear. Credits are only awarded once payments are verified and cleared by PayPal. Credit card purchases and direct PayPal balance payments are instant.

When the transaction is completed successfully and the credits have been assigned to your account, you may now create ads on Pixel2life.com. Please proceed to the next chapter to learn about creating and managing your ads.
