Go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts. You can define them there.

Yeah, but only in PS CS2 (I don't know if PS CS allow you to customize them too, but PS 7 don't)
Bombefar: so if you press for example Ctrl + T in your keyboard when using Photoshop, it doesn't work?

If you go to the edit menu --> can you see the Keyboard Shortcuts" item (it's the third last item in the menu i think) ?
If so, what you see when you click on that one.

Let's compare those a little:
watch this pic and try to see if you can get exacly the same.
And when there's something you want a shortcut for try to find the item and try to change a shortcut:
we'll start with the shortcut for bringing up the shortcut menu (oh boy, the older i get the stupier my jokes are getting):
AND? You see the same?
Cos if you do i am afraid it has nothing to do with photoshop, but with
a) some keyboard button not working
somehow you type too fast r something, thus not holding down all the buttons together at some point.
... r something else we'll have to find somehow.
