Allright welcome to another tutorial :P In this tutorial we will create some cool looking pixel art. I will learn you the basics of creating a pixel house. When youre creating pixel art you have to zoom in, zoom back out. The thing is to have a lot of patience. Enjoy!

1) Open up your Photoshop and open a new document with a transparant with Width=468 Height=100. Name your first layer to Background

2) Create a new layer by going Layer->New->Layer or by hitting CTRL+SHIFT+N on your keyboard. Rename this layer to House Outline.
Take out your Pencil Tool by hitting ‘B’ on your keyboard or by selecting it from your tools:Posted Image. Select a 1px brush. Create something like this:

And our result in the actual size:

Starts to look like something right?

3) Now again select your Pencil Tool. I suggest you create a temporary new layer named Windows in case you mess up. There is really no way to explain this to you guys in words so just follow the image to learn how to add some windows and a door to our pixel house :(

If you are done creating the windows and the door hit CTRL+E or go Layer->Merge Down to merge it together with your House Outline layer. If you made the windows on your original layer of course this step isnt necessary.

And again a quick overview of the actual size:

4) Now we have to add some color to it. Just use your Pencil Tool to color the house. Again I suggest you create a new layer. Click the image for which colors to choose.

Have patience. It’ll take you a few minutes to color the image, when your done Merge all your layers by hitting CTRL+SHIFT+E or go Layer->Merge Visible.
This is our result zoomed out, was worth the effort right? ;)

I hope you all enjoyed the tutorial. Use your newly acquired knwledge to create something like this:
