same..I'guilty of the visited and unvisited links. Well, i hate those...
the sites ive made arent a complez set of links like in his site, so visited and unvisited should look the same else it doesnt look right as quite often my browser doesnt remember my visited and yeh..

Same here as well...I just don't like the ugly purple it leaves when you click on it, and I'd rather keep it the same color after you click on it. I do have rollovers, and have it underlined though.I'guilty of the visited and unvisited links. Well, i hate those...

I agree with most things, not all things. I usually dont take web advice from ugly sites tho, such as useit.com (my personal opinion).
My favorite part about the article is that he doesnt follow his own rule number 2.. Look at the top left (first link)
http://www.useit.com...nographics.html is another funny page. I guess 99% of the sites suck to this guy.

Also, the fixed width thing isn't really true either...the only thing that's bad about it is screen resolutions; if someone has a really high screen resolution, the website will look really small (although very few people have resolutions that are that high).
I also disagree with that, because from my experiences, doing that makes everything look ugly, because all the links are different colors. It works all right if you only make a slight difference between the colors, but going from blue to purple or from underlined to overlined does not look good at all.Differentiate visited and unvisited links.
Ok, I'm done ranting.
