Glass Effect

I'm looking to achieve a "behind the glass" kinda effect on my banner. Kind of like a plastic glass that sticks out a litte bit. You know like some tv screens, they kind of curve in the middle.

maybe show us an example?
if i think i know what you're talking about, then ps 7 and below would be able to just use their 3d effects and create that pretty easy.

I didn't mean you dude its just you were the only one that posted at that time and i was kind of anxious. And sorry dudes thats not what I need i don't know if there is a tut or something out there like this. http://www.flashdesigner.ru/ that's what i'm going for. I mean the first thing you see when you click to enter the site, that red thing, something like that. Do you understand what I'm going for now

That effect just involves using the Eliptical marquee and filling it with white then adjusting the transparency.
