Well I want to buy a new video card. I'm currently using an FX5200 and it's not giving me the FPS I want for games. WHat's a good card to buy in the under $300 bracket (canadian) and it must have VIVO.

I have been looking at the Radeon 9800 Pro but it doens't have VIVO from what I see.

What's your thoughts?

Im not going to post specs, but i can reccomend a few:

Radeon 9800Xt
Radeon x800
GF 6800

Those are pretty much the top of the line ones, i use a PNY 5200 ultra FX (I can crank 70fps max on Counter-strike with all settings high on 1280 x 1024)

I have a 9800Pro 256 on my desk at home and I really thought it had VIVO...I'll check, but yeah it was a beast for games. If you want massive video in/out options then the radeon all in wonder cards (9700 and up models) are super sweet and best you will find while also providing nice framerates. heh I would give you this geforce FX5600 laying here on my desk if you were close enough. It's sat there unused for maybe a year now.

That better than a Geforce 440SE 64MB card? If so, I'll take it!

You still need video in, which ATI now makes an addon card with HDTV input and I dont think it's too exspensive. Still may be a better option to take the All-in-wonder line though because it's only one card and had every kind of input/output hookup you need, plus the super cool remote wonder remote control :o
