The very outdated Topsites script P2L was running has FINALLY been replaced! Thanks to the help of Donna, Neil and Ghost, we've converted to an awesome new script that ties right into the forum backend, so all you have to do is click "add site" if you're already a member! Otherwise, sign up to our fast growing community and get yourself listed!

Where's all the action?

http://www.pixel2lif...php?act=toplist

Get in early and be the first to get listed! All topsites are manually approved, so bear that in mind when you first add your site and you don't see it appear right away. This script also includes additional protection from cheating, and the stakes are also higher, because people who are caught cheating will not only have their site removed, but they will also face the risk of suspension or ban of their community account.

So enjoy gang and let me know if you see any issues. Bear in mind we're still skinning the forums, so we'll be fixing all that bold text you see right now :(

Enjoy!

you have a tad bit more skinning to do lol. Some of the stuff doesn't quite match in the blue title headers. And most of your site has 11 to 10px bold font, so you may want to create a bit more consistancy.

I only say this because its pretty clear that you care how P2L looks!

I did read the last paragraph, I just wasn't sure of the details. My comment was admittedly worthless and, well unintelligent, but I hope a question will be make up for it!

I know that you vaguely reffered to some new features, I am sure that IPB has provided a whole list and I was wondering if you could post it somewhere! Also, my co-worker has been developing an amatuer, so it would be nice to see what proffessional ones have, and to seeif we can try and implement those features :(

I do give props to P2L for the skin mods and other work to the mod.

The Topsites system is pretty neat however i found that a few people have submitted sites and their url ended up being like "http://http://www.site.com/" or so a url completer could work well on that.

Also we had to quikly whip up a page to get the top10 and random topsites and i think that they should premake examples on how to do that because someone with no experience would have no idea on what to do.

Once again people dont read fully. LOL

Neil those scripts would be fairly hard to do also like you said.
Like i said props to the P2L crew that made this topsite deal work.

I just bought me a new domain and hosting and will be working on my site for a while. I hope and can make a nice clean look. LOL

That sounds great. But I noticed that the URL to the topsites http://pixel2life.com/topsites has not yet been updated. It still redirects me to the old topsite script.
