Hi

I could use a tutorial about an effect or a few step showing, about how can i achieve a snow effect in Photopaint. I do not want a snowing one, like white dots on the screen, i need somenthing like, snow over a text, over an object or somenthing like this. Can be done or not? I am sure it can, i just did not figured it out till now.

Thanks, by

Hi qf,

That's a really good question and I've personally never seen a snow effect that I like. In fact, the ice effect I made at http://www.pixel2lif...p?showtopic=863 was created when I was trying to figure out a decent snow effect for fonts.

In retrospec, I would probably use a similar technique for the snow, but first, I would bitmap fill the shape of font with a snow texture made from a snowy photo like this: http://ssser98.value...26675_a1603.jpg

I'm super bust with P2L at the moment, but if I get time in the next nit, I'll see if I can put a tutorial together. Give it a shot though and let me know how it works out :rubber:
