Hello there folks. I've decided to open up this new contest in an attempt to bring some life to a once-great community. The object of this contest is to design your own Next Generation Gaming console. Entries can be made with any program, whether it be paint, photoshop, 3ds max, or whatever, It just needs to be entered! You can use anything for inspiration as long as you don't make an already existant system. The contest will end June 24th! I will have a designated team of judges that will judge on 3(three) categories for each Image. The three categories are Creativity, Usage, and looks, so make sure you put a lot into this console.

There are no restrictions for this contest, except that your console can't already exist. You're images can be as small or large as you want, but make sure they're detailed

1st Place : Completely Custom IPB Skin for 2.1.X
2nd Place : Completely Custom Web Template

Cool, sounds good. I think ill have a go at this one. Only got photoshop installed at the minute though. Going to see if i can get 3D max up and running again.

re check your settings I can see the forum index but if I go to http://www.forums.ze...hp?showtopic=28 page cannot be displayed, something is wrong somewhere the category works ok.

If you wanna do an update, I doubt any consoles after the latest will use memory cards. With the inevitable appearance of extremely cheap harddrives theres no reason not to include one in a console.

(I don't have the time to do my own so I'm throwing my ideas at other people.)

Your entry is fine. But it won't be entered unless you post it on the Zero Designz forums. When you post it, be sure to include as much detail about the functionality, the plugs and everything.

P.S. The competition is "next-gen" consoles, not "previous-gen". That being said, good graphic work. So far Dirk Black has the best one in my opinion.

P.S. number 2: I might make a console. Not to enter, just for fun.

i hate consoles i think they are a waste of money..

to represent that, i created a crappy ps2 burning. you can tell i spent more time on the flames that the ps2 lol..

it was animated but imageshack didnt like its size so its only one frame.
