grass I would recommend a plugin like hair or something, unless you just want a grass texture that "looks" like grass, those can be made or you can buy one on turbosquid.com.. as far as the ice goes I would start with the SLA preset for clear plastic and tweak it till it looks like ice, and instead of the reflective channel I would use environment as the ice isnt so much reflective, although it is very shiny and speculer.. hope this helps although I dont make much sense

You do make sense,
cos in the material presets there are (i think) 3 or 4 water presets.
The first one is a good one to start with, but way to reflective.

and still dont know how to make ice...

You asked about grass and ice, the hair plugin was for the grass.. as far as ice goes I would just experiment man, transperancy and slight reflection, then mess around with the speculer channels untill you find something you like, its not that hard, start with a glass texture if you have to and add some texture to it

For presets:
start cinema4D,
at the bottom part theres a toolbar with 3 menu-items. You must click on "File" and then go to "load material" (ctrl+shft+O). a browser opens and there you will find the material presets: "basics" is the one you need and prop the only one you have.
