Hey

New photo from me, took it this morning by this massive lake called Virginia Water Lake in the southeast UK, some might know off it. I know it doesnt fully line up in a few places but thats my fault so I don't want any crit on that part please.

Oh yea the photo is very very big btw, 2.5mb in size the full version so just to warn you.

Posted Image

And after being bored I did a 360 view of part of my garden, the final filesize was 256mb in psd format with dimensions of 25000 x 2000 pixels. The jpg version is 300kb i think, 5000 x 400 pixels, low quality and out of focus (because i am an idiot and not doing it again). So enjoy my garden:

My Garden

Thank You!

Thank you Donna.

On the far right and far left that is my house. And on the far left behind the fence is my neighbours house. Simply the very last window on the left is the same last window on the right. So its one big circle.

I like the first one the most, it could be used for some beutiful sig, instead of all those ugly abstract-techy things.
How do you take this kind of pictures?

lolz its only 340kb d2squared, for a photo that big its not too bad..

Indigo there are two ways, both very simple. Either you are very rich and can buy a camera specialy designed to take panoramic photos. Or you use a normal camera, take multiple pictures and use photomerge to stich them together to make them one big image. So for that image I used 3 images, left, middle and right and then stiched them together to make the image. And I did exactly the same for the house picture but used 16 photos instead. Simple but effective.

Thanks all for the feedback, glad you all like it.

Is "photomerge" a preset at the camera? Can you just use some blending modes in photoshop?

BEAUTIFUL photography, the first image panorama is beautiful as the reflection off the water makes the effect seem to clean and nice.

On your garden you have a beatifully trimmed lawn and very nicely maintained, as well as some beautiful photo skills which made it all the better.
