Web 2.0 Logo Tutorial

1. The first thing to to after you've loaded Photoshop up, is to create a new canvas with the dimensions 400x150px. Then fill it with #3c3c3c.

2. Then grab a font you like, i've chosen 'Bebas'. Then type you're selected text in the center of the canvas in the color #B4C24B.

3. Next duplicate the layer with the text on and rasterize. Flip it vertically and place it like so.<br />

4. Then grab the rectangular marquee tool and set the feather to 20px, then select the rasterized text as shown in the image below.

5. Then simply, press delete three times to get the outcome shown below.

6. This will give us our reflection. Now we have to add a slight gradient to it. Add these gradient properties to the reflected text.

7. Now we can add a small slogan to the logo. I've used Verdana 10px, but you can use whatever you want.

8.Now add these properties to it.

just select the txt, right click on it and go on flip verticly...

or simply select it, go on edit -> free fransform..
