You know, my kids have been asking for little things like a bike or a doll and stuff like that. On an Army salary, it's hard to make it by as it is and Christmas goes without gifts most years because I can't afford it. So, this year, I'm just wishing that I can be home with my family who and hopefully have a good holiday. If I get lucky I might be able to scrap up a few bucks to get my kids some gifts when I come home for R&R but since I deploy soon, that might not be possible.

You know Kev I dunno what you guys have in the US but if I recall your kids are little they wouldn't have much understanding on money yet, theres nothing wrong with a can of spray paint over a 2nd hand bike you can even pick stuff up for free from garbage disposal places these days where instead of people dumping stuff they drop it off in swap sheds etc.

Don't you have those $2 bargain shops? some neat toys for kids in there, don't take this offensively but you you don't need to spend thousands of $$$$$$ on presents it's the thought that counts more than the gift itself.

D, I know I can do that. I do, do that. However, when my kids ask for all these new toys and games, it really hits the bank hard. Anyway, I don't have much time to do all that this year since I deploy in on December 1st and I'm on base until then. Right now, my Christmas wish is to just be home with my family.

This is too much LOL! And it's priceless that I have to explain... ok you said you want a third girlfriend, thus you currently have two. Your two current girlfriends are your left and right hands and having a third girlfriend would mean you have a third hand. If you still don't get it, you're way too young to be dating

also some clay to play with , I want to make monsters with my fingers, as none of the uni's i want to go to will even look at my cg stuff , Was thinking as my mind works in 3d, why not transfer to clay... meh will probably suck.
+ a video camera - mum looked a bit shocked at this, so chances of actually ending up with 1 are minimal, well... pretty near nil, i spose i could borrow their cameras and do it frame by frame
a stocking with stuff in it, last year it was empty, i don't care what goes into it, pencils, rubbers an orange... its my fave part - waking up early in the morning, not switching the lights on so as to keep everyone else asleep, and they quietly trying to get stuff out of my teenage mutant ninja turtles stocking! Last year i didn't get anything in it , it is still hanging on my door waiting!... its definatly a piece of Christmas that holds allot of magic for me
