Ok I have CS3 [to install it I uninstalled CS2] and I need ImageReady only
how can I install ImageReady without installing Photoshop?

I don't think you can... I believe that you need to have PS installed to install IR. Many of the same components are used and IR is supposed to be a interface to PS that does somewhat more specialized tasks. But IR is still a part of PS even tough its a separate .exe

How can I import the frames from an aninated Gif file?

Open the gif in IR and they will show as separate layers. I dont think there where anything else to it then that but im not 100% sure on straight arm.

Yes I know how to do it in IR but the problem is I don't have IR
installed [for that^ reason] that's why asked is there a different way :) ?

lol I see...well if you want to have ImageReady you need install CS2 or an earlier version since IR is obsolete with the merging of Macromedia. Read here for more.

Why not just use Dreamweaver since it's integrated for a seamless workflow between Photoshop in the CS3 version.

Imageready is (finally) integrated into PS in CS3. Click the 'window' menu and check the 'animation' option. Once clicked, your precious IR animation window will appear :)
