Alright, this is a VERY simple text effect, and i'm just posting it because I thought it was pretty neat, and in the right situation it looks pretty decent


Alright, this is my first ever, so let's get down to business.

1. Type your text!


2. Dupicate the Layer 2 - 3 Times!


3. Rasterize the bottom two text layers, and then apply some distort filters, such as wave or zig-zag or spherize, twirl whatever tickles your fancy.




4. Mess around with the Opacities, and blending effects on the layer. Maybe add a glow or something, whatever looks nice. My Final outcome:



I know it's not the best, but the effect comes out nice for beginners, and on certain fonts and backgrounds. Usually a really skinny font works better . You can always mess around with it too!
