Hallo to everyone, I have made book cover in 3d max and for book pages I used texture. For background render it was ok, but now I need to made one very close render so I would like to model these book pages. So I wanted to ask how to model realistic book pages? For example like this books in attached file.

the long way? draw 200 curvy splines, outline them a bit, then add an extrude modifier  a bit like the technique you would use to make curtains x 200.

the short way? depends on what renderer you use. if i was doing it in vray i would make a box inside the covers and then use vray displacement. try making yourself a bump map and playing with that if youre using scanline.

either way if youre going to model them it will take a while.
