I haven't been doing much photography lately, but every now and then I attempt some portrait shots. These are probably my first real attempt at portrait photos, and they were taken about a month and a half ago.

Very good usage of the sun as natural lighting.
And atleast you are wearing a good team kit :)

With the first two shots, try cropping the photo's on either side of the model, that way, more attention is paid to her rather than the unnessassary background as said by Syntex good source of original lighting.

nice shots.. next time i suggest you take stolen shots.. it would look perfect especially if people are your topics..

Well the last shot of the girls looks boring, but she has perfect face on first, for modelling i mean! ;) So I like the first and second, play more with her in different situations and maybe there will be even better pictures... Oh yeah, try taking them portrait not landscape or don't center the point of interest :)

i think taking pictures of people is the most risky one. How would you make a natural scenario appear extraordinary and worth remembering? Now, this is a challenge for you :-)
