I use images ready and I can't really get the hang of flash.
But my friends say flash is better.

Damn, imagine a whole suite from them, would cost a few bazillion dollars for like fifty programs...

Anyways, it probably does have its ups and downs, now we have the best of both sides of the competition, however I like Macromedia, their logo and products were just so cool :P

It wouldn't be necessarily a good thing, i'm a macromedia user and i wouldn't like to see Adobe style menus and plugins in Macromedia software. (I really find that adobe products have an annoying workspace, especially floating menus).

I really think that Adobe does have an annoying workspace also. I've never actually sat down for a long time and gotten used to it, but from my experiences with it, I prefer Macromedia's layout.

all these ppl tlkn bout how they h8 the floating menus, i must say i find they are very good, giving flexibility and creators a work flow that works for them.

i find the maccromedia programs very clostrophobic (god damn i better of spelt tht right)

if they are going to cater to ther consumers needs they wud need to have a work space either locked or floating as a choice.

(i myself if u hvnt figured, is a adobe fan but use maccromedia and flash wen i need to do websites and flash but neva eva eva use fireworks, im srry i just dont like it)

i'm both a macromedia and an adobe fan, and i just want to point out here: did autodesk tell discreet to change 3d studio max when they bought it? no.. it was simply for profit - this is more than likely the meaning behind the madness of the purchase as opposed to 'lets put flash into photoshop' or 'lets make fireworks replace photoshop'

honestly, you guys are just clutching at straws
