MOre important would be Illustrator/Flash since they both work with vectors

I can see good things from this. And bridge in CS2 is basically a suped up Windows explorer which shows meta data!

Dun really know why, but I've always been a Macromedia fan...I never got to use Imageready, but from what I hear it's not as great as Photoshop or GoLive from the Adobe gamma of products.

I liked things the way they were and I really hope Adobe won't change the Macromedia team in any way. If they want to make money off their backs, fine! Just let Macromedia continue their marvellous work they did up so far.

My 50 cents :P

I'll judge on this after I see their next releases of product.
The possibilities though are near endless. I hope they take us all into design heaven. :P
Where they actually take us is their call.

I think he was using mac. as an abbreviation for Macromedia.
By the way, edit your sig, you can only have one image that is under 60Kb. Read the rules before and admin has to tell you to.

from what i hear fireworks is just the n00b version of photoshop

whats the big loss photoshop is better, now if they combine photoshop with flash then like some of you have said its the ultimate program for us. Anyone who prefers fireworks over photoshop needs to look at the work created by people with fireworks then look at photoshop.

i am glad adobe has bought macromedia. nobody is gonna lose there jobs and so what if they did i dont lose my job :hi: that migth sound selfish but its true adobe owns macromedia now they can do what they like.... :P

this is a pretty silly comment on the topic to be honest

both fireworks and photoshop have their up points and are roughly the same program

combining something like flash with photoshop in the same program wouldn't be a good move as they aren't really related, photoshop is for graphic work and flash is for animation, imageready might be a better solution to combine with flash :D

as for the jobs thing, people are deffinatly going to lose jobs

Wouldn't that be great though? I mean, Im an advanced user of FlashMx2k4 and Photoshop7.0, and there are parts of both I'd like in the other. It'd be great if they did release something that did it all, it'd cost a LOAD, but it'd be 'The Ultimate'.

EDIT: I just read that 'Jay' said about ImageReady+Flash being better, but I totally disagree. I really cannot stand ImageReady, I much prefer Flash, it's SO much better. But flash needs more graphical options, ones that Photoshop has. That's why I think Flash&Ps would be best together ;)
