I was wondering why avatar sizes are very small in the P2L Forums and not the proper 96x96 sized avatars. The max size here is to small to see proper avatar images and all that.

I was wondering why the avatar sizes were not 96x96? And if you could allow us to have 96x96 sized avatars?

I believe mainly to shorten loading times.
I mean, 96 x 96 is pretty big for an avatar.

proper 96x96 sized avatars

Who set that standard?

I think the avatars are just fine personally, design them to fit the space and they'll look perfect. If we increase the size, I think it would throw off the clean look of the design <_<

Mostly alot of other forums that I am a member of, have been a member of and have browse. Also having them at that size gives you a bit more space to create something.

It could just be me, but 64x64 just seems weird to me. Maybe it looks fine and all to you guys?

Ive been using 64x64 avatars for a long time now.....ive always hated it when people go online, find some big 300x300 picture they like and slap it in as a screenshot, having everyone with the same sized avatars makes the forums look even, easier to read, and more professional

I dont know what your talking about :P

Also for sites like this which have a fixied width its best to have smaller images so the tables dont get messed up.

96x96 is not a standard size.

Would you prefer we had larger avatars and smaller sig banners say 88x31 :P

They will remain at 64x64 unless Faken changes & I cannot see that happening as majority are happy the way they are.

avatar sizes are fine as they are ;)

if a sig is too big it makes the page take too long to load, i dont care what a sig has in it, i care what the thread is about.
