To submit a tutorial u need to have a 5 kb avatar! Make it so u can have more kb then 5 geeze... small image... make it like 20 kb or sumthing.. MAKE IT BIGGER PLZ

20kb's is a huge file size for an image that tiny :) , take it back into Photoshop use save for web & compress your images.

Damn, i have trouble getting the images i submit over 5kb.. how do you manage to go over?

There is absolutely no reason for you to have issues creating a 40 x 40 pixel image that is under 5kb. I recommend you look at the optimization tutorials if you need help.

And honestly, if you can get a non-animated 40x40 .gif over 8kbs, then congradulations. Go take 5 seconds, compress it enough so it doesn't lose quality, and then figure out what you're going to do from there.

The less colors it has the less space it takes up.
