i was trying to figure out how to make a smoking gun effect and even if it's possible in flash at all.. anyone have any ideas?

Um.. make about 2 - 3 picture sof smoke trailing in Photoshop.
Then import them to flash and break them up. Then insert a shape tween between them. I think that would work

there is a way but it takes some time and effort, you use lines side by side and make them spin and stuff.
