I want to create an activex object in the JScript file of windows media player skin, but even after marking the object safe for scripting in the registry it gives an error : "automation server can't create object" Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Found useful coverage and feel confident will help me to modify an existing UGLY Skin provided by Sirius for Internet Listening. Concerned how to include their security features (a token value) which is sent in their Skin , and I would have to extract and then GOTO my Skin for their application. Any suggestions how to "intercept" or "break out of" a running skin script to use values from it for one's own version? Their source is visible during execution, but not familiar with dynamic patching tools to locate exe and possibly plug in jump code. Ideas? tia pixel2life -please substitute & concatinate on right- cape|span|dot|org
