This is an excellent tutorial and if you dont know how to write CSS files dynamically then it is a must read. It takes you through the steps needed to write configure the htaccess file and use PHP to mimic a CSS file which allows you the flexibility to change your styles depending on the theme a user selects or what page they are on.
A must read!

Very cool, interesting method of managing. Don't know if I'd have the patience to use it, because I rifle through several designs a year that need more than a simple color change. ;P
