Nice tutorial. No engine, but nice tutorial.
See, Flash is your engine (made by Adobe) not that script. All it does is: draw, process input, and do basic collisions. All of which you did little more than tie together with what was in flash. An engine facilitates the design of a game and this is nothing more than the basic framework built on an engine to make a functioning game.
