I hope you can help me here. The message system works great in testing phase. If I set the $userid = 138; which is my test account it works great. So, how do I get the script to know which user it should operate, like $userid = "some kind of session";???? :) Thanks :)!
 

hi, how would i have users to pm to themselves? can we do same like in this forum? in the users page you could see a link like send pm to this user. how would i do that? thank you

Hey I installed everything, and incorporated it into my site, but when I send a message between a user to another user, the user I sent the message to keep saying there is no new messages. Would you happen to know what the problem is? It could very well be that i messed up entering the Sql database, im a newbie at that..
 

this helped me a lot.
I still thaugh have some problems like, the column From whitch containt always 0, even if i pass the userid in url and instanciate the class with it... but i at least can use the system now.

Excelent tutorial, i adopt it for zend and everything is good, so far. But it would be nice to add warning that mysql has some issues when you name table column with resereved word 'from', Just rename it to fromId and repeat that elsewhere in code, and it works fine.
