Made a new design for my site, what do you think?
I went for a simple theme
Dh89 Designs
Cheers

VERY NICE! I really like it, though personally I wish there were more color there... the white is a little overwhelming.

- Not centered in IE.
- I'd like to see a more position-oriented layout. At the moment, a lot of things are poorly aligned with one another. Like the gray lines under "Welcome" and "Affiliates," to name a few.
- Why is there a period after "Welcome?" It's not in any of the other titles, and it certainly isn't there for grammatival reasons, so...
- I think there are too many gray lines. They are not constant either. For example, on the "portfolio" page, the line to the left of the main paragraph only goes down half-way (I'm assuming it's the paragraph's border). You can either make them a constant length all throughout, or use something else to seperate the paragraphs. Also, a dotted border would do nice.
- Speaking of the "portfolio" page, I think that middle paragraph is completely pointless. It's the center of the page, and you have nothing more important to put there than a sentence that doesn't even have to exist? The fact that it's made in Photoshop is really irrelevent to most people. Besides, it's the industry standard, so it goes without saying. Similarly, saying that you made it all from "scratch" is pointless as well. I recommend utilizing that space for something more important, like the portfolio samples!! Instead of having just one column on the right for the samples, use the center column to double the space for your samples.
- I dislike the banner. I mean... You've got a very sharp, clean, crisp and simple layout throughout, but then you have that banner which is very blurred and unsaturated. I'd replace it with something very sharp, with a very saturated color, and something the same height as the navigation menu to its left.
My 5 cents; keep the change.
P.S. - Although it's really up to you what you want to charge for your work, I wouldn't say what the maximum price is; especially if it's so low compared to the market price.

You can't copyright that design! When you're running a webdesign company, YOU should MAKE the site, not rip a design from http://www.oswd.org and copyright it! The site is copyrighted to Luka Cvrk and Solucija.com
Click here for the original design - only a few changes has been made
This topic will now be reported. I suggest that you remove the site (or at least write CLEARLY that the design has not been made by you), or an email goes to Luka Cvrk..

I believe he means a general copyright (content etc.) rather than the design. DH please re-add the required copyright for that design back on or we'll be forced to lock this topic

Yeah, I guess dh89 is allowed to copyright the content, but not the design (as he has done here )

Actually he can add his copyright to it.
These are open source templates it even states on that template.
Once again, you are free to use this template in any way you desire. If you like it, use it, sell it, make a fortune with it, I'll be happy. I did the picture on the right, so you can use that as well.
If the author wants the copyright to remain they will state that.
I have used stuff from OSWD myself and never left the copyright on them, but I always send an email to the author to doubly make sure I can remove the copyrights, so before you jump on Dh89 please check.
What You Should Know
You can download any of the free designs on Open Source Web Design (OSWD) and use them on your website free of charge.
The designs distributed at OSWD each carry their own seperate open source license which is chosen by the designer when it is submitted to the site. Upon downloading a design, you agree to use the design under its respected license.
If you use a design from OSWD, it is recommended, but not required, that you link back to OSWD.org.
Using the OSWD design itself and the content it contains (except for the designs, of course) is not allowed without written consent from OSWD.
