hey im here again facing new problem ok this is the thing... i have 1 main movie clip and i load second movieclipname page2 i in level 2 and i put button in my page2, if click this button iwant to go the main movie clip how will i do that....what code should i use because it not workinmg if i put the

_root.gotoAndPlay(1)

put a trace action on that actionscript to see if you are really clicking the button.

how are you loading that page 2? if you're using something like:

loadMovie("page2.swf")

You shd unload the movie if you want to go back to the main page.

unloadMovie("page2.swf")

after checking your illustration, you have a complete mix of buttons and mc's which is not really very nice to work with.. other then that, I don't think you can point to a movieclip inside of a button.. from the maintimeline.
