We made it to the next round too, after a close win against Ivory Coast. Great team I must say, they deserved a draw.

When england scored second goal vs T&T ( When i was drunk btw ), i smashed a poared half a pint on my head and smashed to glass on my head aswell afterwards , seriously.

I tend not to predict who will win, however i agree that Argentina has a very good chance of getting to at least semis.

I think saying "they are gonna win" is a little confident lol

The Dutch radio commentaries can get pretty loud..

Bloody sweeds! England sucks plain and simple i know i'm from england andi do support them but is an over-rated player and we've been playing some of the most crappiest matches ever. If we play like we have been against germany we will loose summat cronik!

god i love soccer, mabye the only person from the us who does lol but i want the usa to win but that wont happen so im going for portugal cause that were my family is from, but sadly i believe that brazil is just too good to lose.

also i dont really understand how the groupings got put together because the usa is ranked 3rd in fifa world rankings and the Czech Republic is ranked second why are they together, also somehow italy got threw in there now that is the group of death.

The reason why the USA is in 5th place, is that they place a lot of crappy opponents in their qualifying matches, and results are kept for 8 years. Countries in Europe are much better overall, which makes it harder to defeat and gain points, even though their factor is a bit higher (0.01 or so lol). That implies the ranking is a little skewed.

Since their introduction in 1993, the FIFA World Rankings have been the matter of much debate, particularly regarding the calculation procedure and the resulting disparity between generally perceived quality and world ranking of some teams. I can debate the fact that you call that the group of death, instead of Group C:

Argentine - already favorites for the title
Netherlands - have beaten Czech Republik twice in the qualification for the World Cup and haven't been defeated in around 15 matches, the best result of all countries participating
Ivory Coast - Finalists in the Africa Cup
Serbia - only 1 goal against them in the qualification

Now that's a group of death. I can understand it's a tough poule for Team USA, simply because they were ranked 3rd in the drawing. They would meet 2 stronger countries anyhow.

We're meeting Portugal next Sunday, hoping for a great match!

OMG England AND Brazil both knocked out of the World Cup. I knew England couldn't win but i thought it would be England v Brazil in the semi's. For france to beat Brazil, fair play to them, from how france were playing in the group stages i thought they wouldn't make it far, fair play to them.

So my prediction for Argentina v Brazil in final is wrong, i am gunna say Germany v France for final now.
