Just a small point - you'll get a lot less interest in a month long competition than a one-two week one. Nice work alter-box!

To the OP, why do you offer web design services when you can't design your own logo? Interesting use of 'lets try to look like a microsoft solutions provider' by the way. You may also want to check your spelling throughout the site. Also, it might be considered fraudulent to portray your hosting as being on supercomputers (SGI/SUN) when you're actually a reseller of www dot lostinspacehosting dot com, on a cheap linux box running CentOS and cPanel. Good luck with the business, though I would suggest you use LIS images with their permission or a 'generic' server case image.

Really nice logo alter-box, fits in well with the existing site!

I have to highly disagree with you as I have seen many successful logo competitions run over a month (not on this website) the longer run competitions produce better results.

May I remind you this is a competition thread to submit entries not a site critique topic.

This isn't the place for this. Let's not repeat this particular move... if you have some gripes about the site, PM him.

To Discontinuity:

First off I figured that having the competition run over a month would give people more time to think of good ideas and more time to work on them. Also the competition would have more time for it to get known.

Secondly, the logo design competition is a way I can see the work of other designers, also we have a designer currently working on a logo and if they are not as good as the ones produced from this competition then we will obviously go with the one our designer produced.

And lastly, the page with the network information was a mishap that was unintentional and It was instantly removed once I was notified.

I don't mind criticism or anyone pointing out mistakes but please do so by emailing me at [email protected]

Good luck to all the competitors and mostly have fun.

well you know it's an image ;) image is 2d :D

we employ the 3d term because it feels three dimensional and done with a 3d soft ;)

but i've seen so many amazing things that are not 3d but ...

see this one :D

but yours look great too :)
