Hello,
I am in the process of setting up a non profit organisation (hoping to register as a charity after website lauch!)
The website is basically a medical patient information website.
I have the literature written by medical experts, but unfortunatly the person who was designing logo and website has been messing me around. Now I need to look for someone else pretty quick!
So can anyone help design a logo? If successful it will be on a large website organisation and hopefully on leaflets that will be distributed to hospitals and patients. People from the UK and worldwide will be seeing your logo.
The theme is Mastoyctosis UK . The logo must have a Mast Cell in it. Please yahoo or google 'mast cell' images and you will get lots of examples.
Sorry I can not offer any prize money, as I am doing all this for free as my child suffers from the condition.
Any other info please email me.
Julz
PS. Anyone who can help with website design please email me asap!

Yes,
Sorry big mistake! Ouch!!
Should be MASTOCYTOSIS !
I would like quite bright colours. Anything considered. A mast cell is usually seen in purple but any bright colour would be considered. Maybe a couple of different colours so I can choose would be good.
I quite like the images that show the mast cell releasing histamine. See google and yahoo image searchs.
Something that is bright and catchy that would also look good on a poster or future fundraising T shirt.
The date for finish date for logo is Friday 21st of September.
Thank
Julz

first i wish to say that giving your time for free in a non profit organisation is a great thing, human centered
i wish to help you in your fight so i've made you a try
here's the preview
here are both fonts in large scale to see it better
first font
second font
i'm not very good in biology so please give me advises if it didn't look as it must
i wish to make a kind of hand made in the second version (light space -> brush mark)
i think that maybe a sentence like "non profit organisation" could help but you're the boss
could you explane us what help your org give to make an clearer logo about the function of the organisation ?
people, there's nothing material to win in this contest but i'll be proud to see other logo than mine and if someone wish my source files to collaborate on it i'll give them with great pleasure

Hello Thanks for your ideas.
I like the bottom one with the dots on the mast cell as this looks like the degranulation.
The organisation will be basically be initial 1st stop for help and information. We are trying to give Mastocytosis Awareness to the UK!
I have a initial idea but cant post it on here so if anyone email me I can give them something to work from!

Here are a couple of images I like.
I like the bottom two, but the bottom one shows release of histamine. Not necessarily these colours but the shapes.
Maybe that type of image with histamine granules going to:
........................mastocytosisuk.org
Thanks Julz

Here is another image I like!
This is in a different colour but I like the shapes and how they have got the different stages of mast cells together. But only one mast cell is fine.
This shows you though different stages for ideas.
People with mastocytosis have reactions to certain triggers and thus histamine is released.
