Hello,

It is my pleasure to introduce WoWscape's 1st Official Competition, presented by WoWscape. We have been planning this for quite some time, and decided to finally introduce it to y'all. The competition is very simple and anyone can participate in it, EXCEPT staff members.

Competition Description:
It's very simple, all you have to do is make WoWscape a background.

Requirements:
* Must be at least 1024x768 pixels big.
* Must be in JPEG format.
* Must relate to World of Warcraft / WoWscape.
* Cannot have any illegal or dirty images on it, as well as text.
* Has to be professional looking.
* Permitted to use any font.
* Must provide a PSD to background.
* Must have the text "WoWscape" and "http://www.wowscape.net" somewhere.

How to Submit:
All entries have to be submitted via e-mail to "[email protected]" WITH THE SUBJECT "WoWscape Background Competition", else your entries will not be glanced at. You can also PM me your entries, with the same subject. You must submit your entries completely zipped with the PSD / Fonts to everything.

Who can Enter?
Anyone can enter this competition EXCEPT WoWscape staff members.

Judges:
All of WoWscape staff will be judging it, including several other design professionals.

Competition Due Date:
The Wallpaper Competition is open immediately and we will accept entries until Thursday, November 30th at 11:59 PM Central Standard Time.

Q. How will the UK entrants receive the prize if they win? Surely shipping oversees would be a huge hassle?
A. No worries, we'll take care of shipping, even if it's to Australia.

Q. What should the email content be? Just the zipped file with the pictures?
A. It should be a zip containing your wallpaper, with the fonts and the PSD.

A: How many entries can I submit?
Q: As many as your heart desires.

Q: What if I want another places prize?
A: If you do not want the prize you deserve, you could always switch the prizes.

So..how are the wowscapes supposed to be done in....like....you want... photoshoped...vector....which is best for this competition?

Does this mean that 3rd place could possible get a 1st place prize? and if so, does the 1st place person get the 3rd place prize?!

Suppose 3rd place wanted 1st prize. But 1st place wanted to keep the prize. What would happen?

Hello,

You must have a size of 1024x768, but if you win, you will have to make some more sizes for other resolutions.
