Im doing this for my highschool drafting class. I used AutoCAD to draw the engine and 3DS to render it. Tell me what you think. Mind you the intake and water pump have not been put on.

wow, i dont really know either of those progs but this is extremely cool!

i love the see through aspect of it, great work!

Very, very nice.. i love cars, and engines, i wouldnt say i know loads about the engine part but i know what you mean by the water pump and intake not been put in ;)

it could probaly use rounded edges and maybe chrome parts and thts about it, good job ;)

i should of added where i am getting all this. In my drafting class the teacher bought the model , visible v8. it is 1/2 scale so once im done with a part i mulitply it by 4. Im rendering it so it looks like clear plastic and grey and dark plastic. I think once im done I am going to do a radial engine in chrome and maybe a rustic one. And the problem it looks so choppy in the front is becuase you cant see the front of the block, but its there and its square edges make it look squary and pixely in the center. Thanks for the replies though.

I think... I'm not sure what an engine really looks like...

heres a link 2 some cars and engines but u cant see them like how iceman made his they have turbo's etc etc on them
