I'm currently working on a website for my dads firm. I have all things done, BUT, my dear dad missed some smooth flash-effects in the header I've made. hehe ..

I have tried a lot to make something cool my selv, but, bluh! My skills is like.. crap. I have also tried a lot of tutorials, but everything goes like hell at last.. :wtf:

Sooo... I want to ask some of you pro guys in here...
Do you want to make som smoothy effects in the header I have made for my dad?
You can see the webside HERE! ;D

And, in that header my dad wants some cool effects! =) Just look HERE! Thats the old website, and I thing my dad wants someting like this! :)

Well, I have a .PSD file with the header in different layers, so it is possible for you to play with your skills :)

Download PSD

If someone wants to help me, my dad and I will be VERY happy! ;)

suggestion can be sent to olepehol[at]online[dot]no OR PM! :)

Dude seriously -- whats with the posts like this? Keep your comments to yourself if you don't have anything to say that will improve someone's skills or the p2l community.

Back on topic...I'll try to dig up some stuff regarding those header effects for you.

Here are some effects:

http://www.flashvaul...orial.asp?ID=40

These are pretty basic, so you should be able to modify them to suit your needs. Good luck!

Looks great! You seem to have a pretty decent handle on Flash. As far as the logo quality...didn't look bad here. If you think it looks poor, it might be the import settings of the jpg when you brought it into flash. Flash compresses images, but it allows you to alter the compression rate. Should be able to right click on the jpg in the library and change that under properties.

Aha.. But the logo looks fine in Macromedia Flash, but when I preview it, or save it - the quality on the logo goes down :S

Edit:
Ah, I'll fix it. I had to edit the properties from "Photo" to "Lossless".

That looks pretty professional looking dude, I can't see any bad quality in the logo, looks really smooth.

Also, on an offtopic note. You're english is better than mine, and I was born here xD.

I find that tends to happen. People who don't speak English natively take more care in learning all of the intricacies of the language that the rest of us ignore ;)
